The product features a bright red color obtained from natural coloring concentrate and offers a typical, well-balanced apple aroma and taste. With a fruit content of 23% and apple pieces accounting for 20% of the formulation, it provides an authentic fruit experience that enhances both flavor and visual appeal in finished products. At 20°C, it presents as a smooth paste with evenly distributed fruit pieces, a Brix value of 66.0°Bx ± 3, and a pH of 2.7 ± 0.5, ensuring stability and performance in cold and frozen applications.
Red Delicious Apple Variegato is made from sugar, apple pieces, glucose syrup, water, apple juice concentrate, citric acid, modified starch, pectin, black carrot concentrate for coloring, potassium sorbate as a preservative, sodium citrate as an acidity regulator, and flavoring. The nutritional profile per 100 g includes an energy value of 1090.4 kJ / 256.6 kcal, carbohydrates at 62.6 g of which 58.8 g are sugars, minimal fat and protein content, 0.846 g of fiber, and 0.055 g of salt.
The product is supplied in food-grade PE sealed buckets and should be stored unopened in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight at temperatures between 5 and 25°C. After opening, it should be kept refrigerated between 0 and 8°C and the packaging should be closed after each use. When stored under the recommended conditions, the shelf life is 24 months from the production date. Before use, homogenization is recommended. The fruits used are subject to strict quality control; however, in rare cases, natural fruit-origin foreign bodies may occur.
