607-59 DairyLux 459 is a carefully balanced blend of hydrocolloids developed for use in ice cream, water ices, sherbets, and other frozen desserts, particularly formulations with low fat content. The system is designed to enhance body, texture, and meltdown control, delivering a smooth, stable finished product across a range of frozen applications.

When dry mixed with sugar and added to the base mix prior to pasteurisation, DairyLux 459 hydrates efficiently to provide effective viscosity build and water control. The combination of guar gum, xanthan gum, and carrageenan delivers excellent structure and mouthfeel while helping to minimise ice crystal growth and improve product stability during storage and distribution.

DairyLux 459 is especially suited to low-fat ice cream (1–2% fat), water ices, and sherbets where clean texture, controlled meltdown, and resistance to shrinkage are required. Usage levels can be adjusted depending on formulation, processing conditions, and desired sensory profile.

Manufactured in the United Kingdom using ingredients sourced from more than one country, 607-59 DairyLux 459 complies with all relevant UK and EU food legislation. The product is non-GMO, non-irradiated, and contains no nanomaterials. It is suitable for vegetarians, vegans, coeliacs, lactose-intolerant consumers, and nut allergy sufferers, and is certified Halal and Kosher (Pareve, non-Passover).

607-59 DairyLux 459 is supplied in 25 kg food-grade packaging. When stored in unopened, undamaged packaging in a cool, dry environment below 25 °C, it has a shelf life of 24 months from the date of manufacture.
